Following the incredible viral Bohemian Rhapsody flashmob in Paris, 12-year-old guitar prodigy Olly Pearson has celebrated his birthday alongside major milestones in his burgeoning music career. Reflecting on the whirlwind experience, Olly described it as “changing my life,” speaking with stunning emotion.

Olly first rose to fame on Britain’s Got Talent, where he made history as the first performer to receive two Golden Buzzers in a single season -first from Amanda Holden, then from Simon Cowell. “Simon’s comments when he pressed the buzzer were so kind, saying I am really talented,” Olly recalled. “When he came on stage the crowd were making so much noise and I had my earpieces in so I couldn’t hear him!”

Family support has been central to Olly’s journey, particularly his grandfather Lee, who introduced him to the guitar. “As a family, we have always watched BGT, and now to be part of it was just amazing. Getting to the final was the best feeling, and I wanted to make everyone proud,” Olly shared.

Now, Olly’s fame has grown exponentially thanks to the Paris flashmob, which showcased his extraordinary guitar skills alongside lead singer Mickey Callisto and 30 other musicians. Fans worldwide have been captivated by the performance, which has gone viral across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Reddit.

Olly promises his next steps will be even bigger. “It’s going to be all about rock and guitar. I want my music to be something everyone can air guitar and sing to, wherever they are,” he said.

Invitations to perform are coming in from across the UK and abroad, including Canada, the US, and Ireland, though his family is carefully considering each opportunity so he can continue his schooling. Ambitiously, Olly added, “The sky’s the limit, but I’ll keep practicing my skills so I can one day organize my own full concert.”
